The Ford EcoSport is Ford’s first compact SUV, based on the Fiesta and released in 2014. Early editions included a boot lid-mounted spare wheel, while after 2015 this was made optional.

The EcoSport is powered by either petrol or diesel engines, and comes in a variety of trim levels including Zetec, Titanium and sporty Titanium S. An automatic gearbox is available only with a 1.5-litre petrol engine. All EcoSports come with alloy wheels, manual air conditioning, remote central locking, all-around electric windows and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
