It was on sale from 2003 to 2006 and came in just a handful of smart colours. It was powered by a a punchy 1.6-litre engine with 93bhp, which doesn’t sound like much, but is more than enough to push the StreetKa along at a brisk pace because the car is so lightweight.

It is a strict two-seater, with a fabric roof that clips in place in seconds. Its low-slung driving position suits its sporty attitude, offering entertaining handling even when travelling well within the speed limit. Being based on the Ka, it’s easy to maintain and spare parts are readily available.
