The Accord was Honda’s entry into the family car market for more than three decades, eventually being withdrawn from UK sale in 2015. It was a rival to the Toyota Avensis, Ford Mondeo and Renault Laguna, and was successful in the British Touring Car Championship.

Early editions are slowly joining the ranks of classic cars, but most on the used market are much more recent. It was sold mostly as a saloon, although a hatchback was also available from 1998 to 2003, before being replaced in the range by a vast and hugely practical estate.
