The Honda NSX is a mid-engined, two-seater supercar produced in two generations to rival high-performance cars from Ferrari and Lamborghini. As the first-ever supercar from a Japanese manufacturer, it’s a true piece of automotive history.

It was introduced in 1990 and remained on sale until 2005 almost entirely unchanged. It included development input from Ayrton Senna and was designed with inspiration from a fighter jet. Power is extreme, and comes from a V6 engine with over 270bhp. Take note that some used examples have been imported from Japan.

A second-generation NSX was introduced in 2015 and just a handful have so far made their way to the UK; waiting lists are long, so buying pre-owned means you can skip the queue. Those used examples that make it to the market are generally ex-demonstrators. This spectacular model has a 3.5-litre hybrid engine and produces an astonishing 500bhp.
