The Nissan Micra has been in continuous production since 1982 and, as of 2017, is now in its fifth generation. This popular supermini has evolved quite a bit over the years, from its rather boxy origins to the smooth-looking vehicle it is today.

Since its inception, the Micra has mostly been produced with five-door body styles but three-door variants are not uncommon. Fourth-generation iterations of this family car, produced from 2010 until 2016, are widely available second hand.

The boot capacity of models produced between 2010 and 2016 is 265 litres, which can be increased to 605 litres with the rear seats folded.

Most recent variants of the Micra are fitted with a 1.2-litre petrol engine, with power outputs ranging from 78bhp to 96bhp. Fuel efficiency is strong across each model, varying between 52.3mpg and 68.9mpg, while CO2 emissions are as low as 99g/km.
