Nissan Pixo - Overview

The Nissan Pixo was manufactured for the international market between 2008 and 2013 (and is still being produced for motorists in China). A little smaller than Nissan’s Note and Micra, this attractive city car is very affordable to run and leaves a small carbon tyre print.

The car’s compact dimensions ensure that it is perfect for negotiating traffic-strewn streets and highways – and there are very few parking spaces that it can’t fit into. The Pixo has an appealing appearance too, with its expressive headlights and expansive front grille; it also rides on alloy wheels.

The bijou Pixo provides ample room for four travellers and comes with a 129-litre boot space. Cargo volume can be increased to 367 litres when rear seats are folded forwards. An MP3-compatible CD player provides audio entertainment, while some models additionally feature Bluetooth connectivity. The car comes with power steering, multiple airbags and ISOFIX child-seat attachments as standard. Some variants have also been specified with Electronic Stability Programme and rear parking sensors.

The Pixo is fitted with a 1.0-litre 67bhp petrol engine which, depending on the trim level selected, returns between 54.3mpg and 65.7mpg. CO2 emissions are commendable too and generally as low as 99g/km.

This five-door hatchback was very affordable during the time of its release, which means it should represent something of a bargain in pre-owned form. Please scroll down to find used car examples of the Pixo in your area.
